Whether you’re into fishing, touring, or casual paddling, you will not find a better seat. The GTS Expedition SB’s patent pending design was crafted from the ground up by paddlers for paddlers. This top of the line kayak seat is designed for all day paddling with maximum comfort. The contour molded, 18” tall, thermoformed foam backrest features comfortable grooves specifically shaped for spine-hugging support and wrap around lumbar stability, and the 1” thick seat bottom slender and supportive. Like all of the GTS line, the Expedition SB is constructed from our trademarked, thermoformed foam/plastic/fabric blend. This desirable high performance blend is achieved by sandwiching a flexible polyethylene plastic sheet between a molded EVA foam face and a 600 denier high density fabric/foam laminate back. This combination of soft and hard gives the paddler exactly what they need: a high quality, long lasting kayak seat with firm comfortable support for hours of paddling.

New to the GTS line, and exclusively available on the Expedition and Expedition SB, our revolutionary bungee pouch takes kayak seat storage to a new level. Specially designed to follow the sleek contours of the molded back panel, this colorful pouch is made from durable, flexible mesh, allowing the paddler to safely secure a variety of objects. Closing the pouch is a cinch with our latticed bungee zip cord. Cross threaded among eight heavy-duty nylon loops, this fastening system expands and contracts, conforming to the particular contents of the pouch at any given time. In the unlikely event that your kayak capsizes, you can rest assured that your gear will remain safely stowed.

As with all the seats in the GTS line, the Expedition SB features our triangulated rear strapping system for customizable comfort you won’t find anywhere else. We have virtually eliminated that annoying "kayak seat slippage" with this 6 point rear attachment design. With this versatile and infinitely adjustable rear lock down system the paddler pulls the rear of the kayak seat from two adjustable upper points which determine the lean, and two adjustable lower points which combat any forward slippage. This method of counterbalancing the pull points secures the seat back to the boat and provides an extremely supportive and comfortable back plane.

This particular GTS Expedition comes with our GTS fishing pack. The fishing pack attaches securely via two plastic, side-squeeze buckles, and rests neatly atop the built-in bungee pouch. This water-resistant pouch has two built-in rod holders and a generous storage area for bait, tackle, or any other miscellaneous items you need at your immediate disposal while angling.
