The Motorcycle Tail Bag is manufactured using our proprietary thermoforming system. Our process is simple, yet effective. We laminate layers of foam, fabric and plastic at 400°F, press the material into cold aluminum molds with 60 tons of pressure, and finish each bag with industrial strength binding, webbing, zippers, shock cord, and Velcro®. The result is a rigid, durable exterior that can take the kind of abuse that only a motorcycle can give, and a soft, versatile interior that cradles your personal belongings, tools, and supplies.

The Motorcycle Tail Bag is manufactured using our proprietary thermoforming system. Our process is simple, yet effective. We laminate layers of foam, fabric and plastic at 400°F, press the material into cold aluminum molds with 60 tons of pressure, and finish each bag with industrial strength binding, webbing, zippers, shock cord, and Velcro®. The result is a rigid, durable exterior that can take the kind of abuse that only a motorcycle can give, and a soft, versatile interior that cradles your personal belongings, tools, and supplies.
The exterior of the bag features weatherproof ballistic material, a shock cord lattice for additional storage, and a tension-and-clip strapping system for secure attachment to most dual sport bikes. The exterior trim is available in four colors: black, blue, yellow and red. The interior of the bag is terry-lined, features a clear vinyl map pocket on the underside of the lid, and a removable storage ‘tongue’ with three pockets and a mini-compression system. The Motorcycle Tail Bag measures 16”L x 8”W x 4½”D.
While the Surf To Summit Tail Bag was designed specifically with dual-sport motorcycles in mind, the adjustable tension-and-clip strapping system can adapt to a variety of road bikes as well.
